मेवाड़ में बिजोलिया  प्रभावित होकर बेंगु ठिकाने के किसानो ने भी आंदोलन शुरू कर दिया।  बेगूं आंदोलन बेगार प्रथा, लाग-बाग ,बैठ -बेगार और सामन्ती जुल्मों से सर्वाधिक प्रभावित था। बेगूं में 25 प्रकार की लाग ली जाती थी। बेगूं वर्तमान में चितौडग़ढ जिले में स्थित है। 1921 में बेगूं किसान आंदोलन मेनाल (भीलवाड़ा) के भैंरू कुण्ड नामक स्थान से शुरू हुआ।
2 फरवरी 1922 के पारसोली के रावल अनूप सिंह और उसके ठिकाने के किसानों के बीच पारसोली समझौता हुआ। क्योंकि फरवरी 1922 में ही बिजोलिया ठिकाने में राजपूताना के AGG  राबर्ट हॉलैंड आने वाले थे इसलिए बेंगु के जागीरदार ने AGG के आने के भय से बिना अपने शासक से पूछे अपने ठिकाने के किसानों से समझौता कर लिया।  यह मेवाड़ राज्य में किसानों से होने वाला प्रथम समझौता हुआ। मेवाड़ शासक फतेहसिंह ने बिना अनुमति लिए किसानों से समझौता करने वाले जागीरदार को दोषी समझा और समझौते को बोल्शेविक समझौते की संज्ञा दी। और जागीरदार को नजरबंद कर दिया गया। अब मेवाड़ शासक की तरफ से  बेंगु में मुन्सरमात लाला हरदयाल को नियुक्त किया गया
                          इस किसान आंदोलन के नेतृत्व के लिए राजस्थान सेवा संघ ने सत्यभक्त  व रामनारायण चौधरी को बेंगू भेजा। बेंगू आंदोलन का नेतृत्व विजयसिंह पथिक के आग्रह पर रामनारायण चौधरी ने किया तथा इनकी पत्नी अंजना चौधरी ने महिलाओं का नेतृत्व किया।
बेंगु मुन्सरमात लाला हरदयाल ने किसानो से कर वसूलने और समझौते को ख़ारिज करार दिया गया। लेकिन किसानों ने विरोध किया। इसलिए गोविंदपुरा गांव  में एकत्रित (2 अप्रैल , 1923) किसानों को शक्ति के प्रयोग से तितर-बितर करने का आदेश दिया।
3 जुलाई 1923 में ट्रेंच आयोग द्वारा चितौडग़ढ के गोविंदपुरा नामक स्थान पर किसानों पर लाठिया बरसानें के कारण रूपा जी व कृपा जी धाकड़ शहीद हो गए। गोविन्दपूरा हत्याकांड 1923 की इस घटना के पश्चात् इस आंदोलन का नेतृत्व विजयसिंह ने किया तथा ट्रेंच आयोग का विरोध किया। मेवाड़ शासक ने  बेगूं आंदोलन की जाँच के लिए ट्रेंच आयोग का गठन किया गया।
10 सितम्बर, 1923 में बेंगू आंदोलन के दौरान विजयसिंह पथिक गिरफ्तार किये गए और उन्हें 5 वर्ष की कैद हुई। वे 27 अप्रेल, 1927 को जेल से मुक्त हुए।  अमृतलाल ने निर्दयतापूर्वक किसानों से लगान वसूल करना आरंभ किया। उसने लगान वसूली में सेना का भी प्रयोग किया।

In Mewar, Bijolia affected and the farmers of Bengu hideout also started the movement. The Begun movement was most influenced by the forced labor, log-bag, sit-forced labor and feudal oppression. There were 25 types of logos used in Begun. Begun is presently located in Chittorgarh district. Begun peasant movement started in 1921 from a place called Bhairon Kund of Menal (Bhilwara).

On 2 February 1922, Parsoli agreement was reached between Rawal Anoop Singh of Parsoli and the farmers of his whereabouts. Because in February 1922, Rajputana AGG Robert Holland was going to visit the Bijolia hideout, so the Jagirdar of Bengu compromised the farmers of his whereabouts without fearing the arrival of the AGG. This was the first agreement with the farmers in the state of Mewar. The Mewar ruler Fatehsinh blamed the vassal who compromised the peasants without permission and termed the settlement as a Bolshevik settlement. And the vassal was put under house arrest. Now Munsarmat Lala Hardayal was appointed in Bengu on behalf of the Mewar ruler. 

The Rajasthan Seva Sangh sent Satyabhakta and Ramnarayan Chaudhary to Bengu to lead this peasant movement. The Bangu movement was led by Ramnarayan Choudhary on the request of Vijay Singh Pathik and his wife Anjana Choudhary led the women.
Bengu Munsramat Lala Hardayal declared the tax and settlement of farmers as null and void. But the farmers protested. Hence, the gathering at Govindpura village (April 2, 1923) ordered the farmers to disperse using power.
On 3 July 1923, Rupa ji and Kripa ji were martyred due to lathi rains on the farmers at a place called Govindpura in Chittorgarh by the Trench Commission. After this incident of Govindpura massacre in 1923, Vijay Singh led this movement and opposed the Trench Commission. The Trench Commission was constituted by the Mewar ruler to investigate the Begun movement.

On 10 September 1923, during the Bengu movement, Vijay Singh Pathik was arrested and imprisoned for 5 years. He was released from prison on 27 April 1927. Amritlal mercilessly started collecting rent from farmers. He also used the army in revenue collection.
