                                            राजस्थान में प्रमुख बौद्ध स्थल 

• छोटी खाटू (नागौर), नोह (भरतपुर), ओसियाँ (जोधपुर), लालसोट (दौसा) के स्तूप। नगरी                       (चितौडग़ढ) के शिलालेख।
• शेरगढ़, भीनमाल (जालौर), रंगमहल, चाकसू (जयपुर) आदि।
• विराट नगर - जयपुर जिले का बैराठ क्षेत्र तथा टोंक जिले का क्षेत्र जो महाभारत काल में मत्स्य             प्रदेश की राजधानी था।
• मत्स्य नरेश विराट की राजधानी बैराठ में बुद्धकालीन अवशेष मिले है।
• यहाँ की भीमसेन डूँगरी पर भ्राबू शिलालेख के अवशेष मिले है।
• जोधपुरा - बैराठ के उत्तर में स्थित जहाँ चाकू, छुरी, कुल्हाड़ी व लोहा गलाने की भट्टी मिली है।
• झालावाड़ - जिले के कौल्वी एवं विनायक हथियागोड़ एवं गुनाई स्थानों पर बौद्ध धर्म के रॉक कट           मंदिर एवं मठ मिले है।
• अशोक विहार (अजमेर) - बुद्ध की 2500वीं जन्म शताब्दी पर अजमेर में 1976 में महाबोधि अशोक         विहार की स्थापना की गई।
